of Art— that he can comprehend, and to which he can respond emotionally. Exeptionalism.

The name "Objectivism" derives from the
principle that human knowledge and values are objective: they are not created by the thoughts one has, but are
determined by the nature of reality, to be discovered by man's mind. Rand stated that she chose
the name because her preferred term for a philosophy based on the primacy of existence—"existentialism"—had already been taken that is saying.Wisdom often requires control of one's emotional reactions
(the "passions") so that one's principles, reason and knowledge
prevail to determine one's actions.the father of Existentialism, maintained that the individual is solely responsible for giving his or her own life meaning. Rand's political views, reflected in both her fiction and
her theoretical work, emphasize individual rights (including property rights) and laissez-faire capitalism, enforced by a constitutionally limited government. She was a fierce opponent of all forms of collectivism and statism, including fascism, communism, socialism, and the welfare state, and promoted ethical egoism while rejecting the ethic of altruism.
